CFG
Pedestrian gate that meets most public access requirements
Alvarado’s CFG is a self-closing pedestrian gate that can be field configured to swing either bi-directionally or in a single direction. The CFG gate provides a 36″ passage opening and meets most public accessibility requirements.
Versatile and durable
Configurable swing pattern
The unique design of the CFG pedestrian gate allows field configuration of the swing operation. This crowd control gate can be configured to swing 90 degrees in either direction, or the gate can be configured to operate bi-directionally (180 degree swing).
Solidly built to stand up to the demands of today’s retail environment.
The gate and hinge post are solid welded assemblies, fabricated from steel with a bright chrome plate finish that matches the finish on Alvarado turnstiles and modular railing. The gate has a rugged gravity closure mechanism that smoothly closes the gate, whether configured for a single direction, 90-degree, swing pattern or a bi-directional, 180-degree, swing pattern.
The CFG has a lower strike or kick plate (installed on both sides of the gate), which is covered by noise dampening material that absorbs impact and substantially reduces metal on metal clanging noise. The plate serves as an impact point for entering carts and as a kick plate for wheelchair access.
The CFG gate comes in a bright chrome finish and includes the gate, hinge post and wheelchair accessibility logo.
