Ticketmaster® Facility Uses Alvarado’s Suite Access Terminals for VIP Suites
A large professional sports facility has installed Alvarado’s IntraQ Suite Access Terminals to control access to premium suites. The terminals install on the wall adjacent to locked suite doors. Guests and staff scan bar coded tickets or credentials to unlock the door and gain access to the suite. The devices interface to Ticketmaster’s AccessManager access control application.

The venue also wanted a product that could be installed outdoors, would reliably read 2D barcodes displayed on mobile phones in low light conditions and would stand up to impacts from stocking and cleaning carts.
“We received nothing but positive feedback regarding the terminal’s performance,” said William Voss, Alvarado Senior Sales Engineer. “The venue really likes the rugged steel housing which withstands impact from service carts much better than their prior product. We can also powder coat the terminal to match the color and finish of the venue. Venues are able to easily customize onscreen graphics and audio sounds and very soon we will be releasing a utility to unlock individual or all doors from a central location,” said Voss.
