Improved throughput
When turnstiles are part of the entry process, access readers are integrated directly into, or on top of, the turnstile. Instead of presenting an entry credential to a front desk attendant, who may be busy with other duties, guests present their entry credential directly to the turnstile to gain facility access. Reducing attendant involvement in the entry process speeds throughput and frees attendants to perform other duties.
Improved security
When members and visitors pass through a controlled physical barrier to gain facility access there are far less opportunities for members to enter without validating their entry credential, or for visitors to enter without checking in. Alvarado optical turnstiles provide additional security through use of advanced optical detection that provides notification when tailgaters attempt to follow an authorized user through the passage area. Use of Alvarado optical turnstiles greatly minimizes the opportunity for unauthorized entries into the facility and improves the integrity of the membership system data.

Prior to the installation process, Alvarado will create architectural renders to allow customers to see exactly how the Alvarado turnstiles will look inside the facility.
